BIO: Michelle Riklan

Michelle A. Riklan holds a B.A. in Theatre, English Literature and Speech Communications from Hofstra University. While beginning her corporate career, she pursued and completed a M.A. in Speech and Interpersonal Communications from New York University where she also served as an Instructor in Voice and Diction/Public Speaking. Utilizing her education and presentation skills, she continued a career path in Human Resource Management. Her generalist background is all inclusive, but her areas of expertise include employment, employee relations and training and development.

With a combined 18 years of in-house corporate and targeted consulting experience, Michelle services large corporations as well as small businesses and individuals in all aspects of Human Resources and Career Management.

Michelle is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and the American Society of Training and Development.

BIO: Ellen Schlesinger

Ellen Schlesinger holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Hartford in Hartford, Connecticut. She began her career in fashion and retail where she gained and cultivated valuable client relationship skills. Working in a sales management capacity, Ellen developed a tremendous network of professional individuals who would later encourage and assist her as she transitioned her career into Executive and Staff recruiting.

Specializing in legal placements, Ellen has serviced law firms and corporations throughout the New York Tri-State area, regularly working with managing partners and corporate counsel to meet their needs. Ellen has an in-depth knowledge of the legal communities in our area, and substantial experience in legal recruitment. At Riklan Resources, she has further expanded her clientele and continues her work in the legal community while expanding her client/base to include finance, marketing, pharmaceutical and general support staff. Ellen’s combined corporate experience of 19 years and her accumulated professional network maker her a valuable asset to her clients and as a Partner at Riklan Resources.
